About Broken Arrow Cheer
Broken Arrow Public Schools has a truly amazing cheer program - winning 2019 UCA Game Day National Championship, NCA National Championships in 2012 and 2014, and consecutive large Co-Ed OSSAA State Championships from 2012-2016. BAPS Cheer has a long tradition in Broken Arrow. Assistant Athletic Director Melenda Knight was part of the first cheer group to travel to a national competition in Dallas in 1986-1987. In 2010, the Cheer program moved under the umbrella of the Athletic Department.
The BAPS Cheer program currently has three teams. These teams consists of the following:

1 Varsity Team (Grades 9-12)
1 Junior Varisty Team (Grades 9-11)
1 Junior High Team (Grades 7-9)

The Cheer teams are always on the move during the sports seasons. They will also be busy year round, with summer camps and competitions in the fall as well as nationals in January or February for some of the teams.
